Decorative Tape

Hello Beautiful People!
The super talented Anne Webb has tagged me. She is a fantastic ceramic artist, you must go see her blog! I have been tagged before to tell random facts about myself and right at the moment I can't think of any extra facts.... Except for my GIANT DECORATIVE TAPE COLLECTION!!!!
Weird isn't it?

I LOVE Decorative tapes. I have quite the collection. Some I love more than others...but I love them all! Today I was out in the Queen West neighbourhood and stopped by the store called The Paper Place I love paper...but I love deco tape more! Low and behold they had some awesome tape that I had never seen before!

Isn't this roll cute?!!! It is on brown tape which is cool on it's own...but it also has cats wearing hats and having tea all over it!!! I got a couple of different rolls with red riding hood on them. The collection is called The Shinzi Katoh Collection and their stuff is WAY COOL!!! Go look at the website! It seems to be in Korean and I don't think you can purchase anything off the site which is a shame because I love everything!
Anyway, I just want to express my undying love for tape. I mean, I really would rather receive tape as a gift than a diamond bracelet.
Hugs to all!

Bonjour Tascha! I have to agree with you, boo! to the diamond, youppi to the decorative rolls of tape. I have a small collection too but my favorite is still the first roll I ever got, a leopard print one! Thanks for introducting me to the Followers Widget, I added it to my blog yesterday. Take care! So, I used to dabble in scrapbooking, and from time to time I have been known to pretend I know how to decopauge. I do neither now, anyhow my point is what do you do with the decotape

Mostly I just like to look at them. But I also use them to pack up the packages that I ship out everyday. I think it makes the boxes look special. The people at the post office always get a kick out of seeing the designs.

You're so sweet Tascha. You know its been said that flattery will get you everywhere! lol

Those tapes are just too much fun. I can see how one could become addicted! How many rolls do you actually have now?

Diamonds are over-rated. I prefer handmade art jewerly. Your tape collection is great. I don't see those types of tapes here in the US.
Love your new Halloween paintings!

I must confess I'm a sucker for such things myself. I have drawers of tapes, embellishments and tons of papers. Fun stuff that adds up quickly when loading a basket full. =P But OH SO worth it.

You may think I crawled from under a box...but I did not even know that there were so many exciting decorative tapes out there.
I looked at the web site and noticed that they cut the tape and adhered it to a box...how does one cut tape like that?
I am with you,I am not much of a diamond girl either.

I LOVE decorative tape too! It can be hard to find though; that may be part of it's appeal besides cuteness. I love your cute cat deco tape!

You can also find both the decorative tape and the masking tape at Ginko Papers. They get all their products form Japan so the decorative tape comes in cool designs and the masking tape is the thing everyone raves about! There's Shinzi Katoh tape, letter sets, postcards, notepads..I'll stop now! Have fun!
